June 22, 2006 /Musical Concepts LLC/ — Musical Concepts, in partnership
with Forte Distribution, have succesfully launched the first wave of Opera Karaoke
DVD releases in the United States.
The first three titles in the series are now available at retail and online stores, and both the retail and consumer reaction has been strongly positive.
"This new product line has immediately performed well above all of our expectations," said Forte's Gene Gaudette, "and is certain to pick up steam in the fall when the new opera season begins."
Todd Landor, managing partner of Musical Concepts, is collaborating with Forte's Marketing VP David Osenberg on plans for a marketing blitz to commence in September. "The campaign will include karaoke opera parties in partnership with select retail and performing arts partners," said Landor, "and we are delighted at the enormous interest that music and video retailers and even performing arts organizations have already shown."
